I have updated the blog with all things happening in June. Students have a lot going on in class to keep them engaged in their learning as we lead into the summer. Please don't hesitate to email me if you have any questions.
This week is THINK GREEN WEEK:
Monday - no school Tuesday - Green Team Kahoot in PE Wednesday - Recycled T-shirt bag building - bring in an old T-shirt and learn how to turn it into a bag - bring $2 Thursday - Walk/bike/scooter to school day. Multiple drop-zones. Please contact Miss Malayko if you would like the map. Friday - Paper Free Day! Hello parents and guardians...a couple of reminders and updates for you:
- Math tests have been marked and inputted into PowerSchool. Please review those as a way to check in on your childs' understanding. If students would like to re-do the test, they must advocate for their own learning and come chat with me Monday - We have transitioned into our new Math unit: Measurement! - I am always available to help with Math or other subjects at lunch if students need the help! - Green Week is coming up - stay tuned for more information Thank you to all families who made time to come visit at parent teacher conferences. A couple reminders about term 2:
- please bring back the signed report card envelope - please continue to check the blog and PowerSchool often. - we have moved into our CORE term, which means students may feel a shift in the work load. They will be expected to complete any unfinished work at home - please ensure you are supporting your child at home when it comes to completing Math homework.
