Students worked through a variety of stations to learn a little bit more about the six regions of Canada: Cordillera, Interior Plaines, Canadian Shield, Great Lakes, Atlantic and Arctic.
This preliminary research and investigation will help students have a general understanding of the regions before we dig deep in our critical thinking and inquiry project about the arctic. This week we will start our exploration of the arctic a little bit further, but will also work on visually representing our new knowledge of each of the regions through a mapping activity.
