We are excited to introduce and welcome Mr. Arvaluk into our classroom. He is a student teacher from Mount Royal University. He will be joining us every Tuesday morning. At the beginning he will observe lessons and build relationships with students, but come term change, he will be teaching a couple of math and science lessons. We are looking forward to our time together!
Welcome Back 5A!
I hope everyone had a great break with friends and family. Please check out the bar on the right with some important information and details about the month of January. We are entering our last month of Intensive French, and will shift into our CORE subjects in February. I talked to the students a little bit about it today, and they seemed excited for the switch, yet focused to finish up our time in Intensive French. Just a reminder that students will still be in CORE with me as their teacher (versus switching teachers like 5B and 5C). It is important to note that students will still have approximately 2 hours of French per week. Students understand this may mean 2 periods one day of the week, or a couple periods throughout the week - we are flexible and will do what is best for student learning. If you have any questions about this transition, please don't hesitate to contact me ([email protected]). Here is a message from Parent Council -
